Our story

How it began...

My roots run deep, starting back on the family ranch, where I first inherited a lifelong love for horses from my dad. Growing up, days were spent in the saddle, with friends and family. That passion stayed with me as I raised my own family, horses always remained a cherished part of our lives. When my daughter turned nine and joined the 4-H horse club, it sparked a beautiful new chapter. I have endless, treasured memories of summers spending hours upon hours alongside her, working with her horse, Pebbles, and deeply enjoying our time together.

However, when she graduated high school and left for college, I suddenly found myself without my favorite riding partner. It was in that quiet transition that I realized my own journey with horses was far from over. I needed to continue to pursue this passion. I started down a path into natural horsemanship, learning to handle and ride horses in a more natural way by following the Parelli program.

After several years of refining my horsemanship, I was introduced to Horse Guided Empowerment through Christina Marz and the MarzMethod. This unique modality completely opened my eyes. I realized I could seamlessly couple my deep love for horses with my desire to serve and help other people. None of this would have been possible without my incredible husband, whose unwavering love and steadfast support gave me the courage to step out and pursue my dreams. With him by my side, cheering me on every step of the way, Reins of Hope was born. I am finally able to bring all of these passions together into one meaningful space. For the past while, I have dedicated myself to building a business that truly exemplifies my love for healing, teaching, and the intuitive wisdom of horses. Today, Reins of Hope is a sanctuary where humans and horses connect, heal, and empower one another, grounded in a lifetime of love and
caring.
